anyone else utilized this? I just got mine in the mail today, it seems hevaily golden dawn oriented, anyone worked in the golden dawn methodology of skrying the enochian system? any thoughts on this system or it's authors work in enochian magick, I have no other books of their's so...

Tue, November 29, 2005 - 5:03 PMi rember a comment of ben rowe somewhere not being impressed with the enochian tarot. doesnt mean its no good however. ben rowe was less impressed with the g.d. system although he admits they did accuretly develop many of it's features. -

The deck seems to be "highly rated," yet the Schueler's other "Enochian Magick" books (Llewellyn) are overwhelmingly slammed as being (yet another) a self-fabricated Enochian system...
Personally, I welcome the opportunity to explore the new deck, and rid myself of A.C. and his "work" once and for all...
Anyone own this deck/book? have used it? have input for an Enochian neophyte such as I?? (spare me the warnings)

I too am very curious as to any comments by folks who have used "The Golden Dawn Enochian Scrying Tarot" by Bill & Judi Genaw + Chic & Tabitha Cicero. The deck claims to be usable as a divination tool and a ritual aid in Enochian workings. I am particularly interested in whether or not anyone has successfully used these cards as a) scrying devices or b) as Enochian watchtowers in workings. This is not idle questioning on my part, I am a (redacted) Golden Dawn initiate who will be working these systems in the near future. Any input from experienced practitioners will be greatly appreciated!

Fri, June 15, 2007 - 1:44 AMI've used that deck to successfully scry and intiate contact with enochian entities...they work well as a focal point for specific entities in a larger ritual context, just like with previous tattwa cards I've utilized my results have been more so that I get out of it what I put into it, they are a suitable surface to reflect that sort of energy I s'pose...
